Właśnie odpaliłem sobie mający dziś premierę krążek Nine Inch Noize i tak mnie naszła myśl, że w sumie dobrze trafiłem z tym Trentem Reznorem. Co prawda do instytucji "idola" podchodzę z dużym dystansem, ale nawet jeśli to "tylko" mój ulubiony zespół od ponad 20 lat, to cieszę się, że kierujący nim człowiek nie okazał się w międzyczasie jakimś zwyrolem, nie popiera ze sceny Trumpa, nie jeździ w 10-letnie trasy pożegnalne, nie ogrywa na koncertach w kółko tych samych utworów sprzed lat ani nie sprzedaje NFT, koszulek z AI slopem czy co tam teraz jest modne.
A zamiast tego ciągle kombinuje i np. wywraca do góry nogami deepcuty ze swojej przeszłości do spóły z młodszym DJ-em. I nawet jak już czasem zamula na tych produkowanych taśmowo soundtrackach, to wybaczam mu bez zająknięcia, gdy potem wyjedzie na Coachelli z czymś takim: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3cLOE6Phms (polecam całość, jeśli kogoś ominęło)

The first time I saw Nine Inch Nails in concert was 35 years ago, back in 1991 with my college crew. They played as part of Lollapalooza along with Jane's Addiction, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Living Colour, Ice-T & Body Count, Butthole Surfers, Rollins Band, and Fishbone. On March 9, 2026 I saw them again at the Pechanga Arena (formerly the San Diego Sports Arena) to support their new album, TRON: Ares (though they only played ONE song from that album for some reason). Pretty good show, wore ear plugs to protect my 60 year old ears.
