I’ve spent much of the day in #Abiquiu #NewMexico at a rally and gathering to commemorate a year of roadside rallies here. At lunch, the Raging Grannies, a progressive singing group, performed. I know I have at least one follower here who is a fan, so this picture is for him. 1/

One more thought, for now, about community. Here in #NewMexico I’m thankful for the colleagues and allies helping with https://1asantafe.beehiiv.com and https://www.landofaction.org The only chance we have to defeat Republican Fascism is to join together to demand constitutional democracy, civil rights, and government in service to the general good.

I’m working hard on building progressivism in #NewMexico for the same reasons I chose to live here. This is a beautiful state, with a distinctive, rich, and vibrant culture. Its public lands must be protected and the welfare of all its people enhanced. New Mexico is a key brick in the wall against fascism in the United States. This is why I founded Land of Action, which I hope to grow into a model for other states. https://www.landofaction.org/ 1/2

I went from prostest against Trump to an event where Deb Haaland, candidate for #NewMexico governor spoke. She was forceful and impassioned. There were many allies in the room. 3/
