I just discovered that there's actually a plugin to have an actually pretty interface on #Koreader!
Here's how it looks on my #Kobo Clara 2E! But it's super customizable and has a lot of modules and ways to arrange things, enjoy!

When I was in the process of removing corporations such as Amazon from my life the last bit to go was the Kindle. Moved over to #Kobo ereader and have liked it.
Have used bookshop.org occasionally.
Charity shops can be great but they don't always have what you want. The online Oxfam shop is great for UK readers happy to buy secondhand books, as well as lots of other stuff

Sosehr ich meine #Bibliothek auch liebe, die haben leider nur die echt grottige Übersetzung von Das Rad der Zeit.
Darum hab ich jetzt den Schritt getan und den Vorteil von ebooks genutzt, der auch so ein gigantisches Werk in eine handliche Größe bringt (zumindest gewichtsmäßig)
Das schwierigste dabei war eine wirklich DRM-freie Version vom TOR zu bekommen:

Es gibt auch eine von Little Brown Book was wohl einfach der UK Verlag ist. Trotzdem hat mich dieser Amazon prime sticker abgeschreckt bei denen abgeschreckt, da wollte ich doch beim Ursprungsverlag bleiben.
Am Ende hab icb es dann bei Kobo gekauft (weil dort DRM freies epub) und es dann auf mein Pocketbook gezogen, auch wenn Kobo den Download button gut versteckt und mir stattdessen ihre Webview oder App aufquatschen will.
Sollten e-books nicht alles bequemer machen?

For my birthday I got a colour e-reader (Kobo Libra Colour). The obvious 1st book to read was The Neverending Story with its two colour text, red for our world green for Fantastica. But there don’t seem to be any ebooks recreating those original editions, they just use italic text. And all the illustrations are awful quality black and white.
Challenge accepted.
I’ve edited the text to be multi colour, and scanned illustrations from my old paper copy!
