As an Illustrator replacement Pixemator is DAMN close and I think enough for the casual user. The only export format missing that I MIGHT use is .eps (and native Illustrator .AI) I've not examined the SVG code it exports, so depending on how clean that code is, I'm just not sure yet. I downloaded all the updated versions of Apple’s Creative Suite ... errr “Creator Studio” to see if this 25 year user of Adobe CC could “get by”. Pixelmator is good enough for what I need from Photoshop and truthfully has been my toolbox since v1.0. Pages still rounds the sizes of things to 2 decimal places. I need finer control to 3 or 4 places like Indesign. There's a dozen other things I need in Indesign too, but that's one I always check. I love Pages. This is not a slight on the app. I use it a lot for simple projects, but in no way is it close enough to Indesign for me abandon it. 1/2 #apple #adobe #CreatorStudio
