Mostly used #2G, #3G and #4G equipment and expensive for the locals, but I'm shure a cheap smartphone with a decent solar charger on it's rear or just some solar panel or TEG to put at the kitchen stove / fire and some charger to hookup to a car battery is propably the "hotness" so they don't need to go to an "#EnergyKiosk"…

@HopelessDemigod@mstdn.social @Herne@corteximplant.net #Germany does have emergency avsilability requirements (which is why #2G won't be shutdown, cuz #CellBroadcast requires it!) mandating quite a lot of backup power runtime Which they oftentimes can only do with solar panels and batteries.
