Even places like #Somalia got connectivity.
Mostly used #2G, #3G and #4G equipment and expensive for the locals, but I'm shure a cheap smartphone with a decent solar charger on it's rear or just some solar panel or TEG to put at the kitchen stove / fire and some charger to hookup to a car battery is propably the "hotness" so they don't need to go to an "#EnergyKiosk"…

Which they oftentimes can only do with solar panels and batteries.
